Mossbourne Riverside Academy is proud to have launched the WoW (Walk once a Week) programme to encourage pupils to walk, scoot or cycle to school at least one day each week, rewarding pupils with a badge if they do so four times over a month. To launch the initiative the pupils enjoyed a visit from Strider the Wow Mascot.
If we all make an effort to walk, scoot or cycle to school at least once a week, this will go a long way towards making us a safer, healthier and happier school.
Pupils have a chance to part in the WoW annual badge design competition. For full details and entry form please click here.
Over 85% of our pupils and parents use sustainable modes of travel on the school run. Well done everyone, keep up the good work!
